For KOKI Transmission, this transaction creates a stable basis for the successful realisation of the strategic goal to become the global market leader for interior switching systems. For AVICEM the acquisition of KOKI Transmission is a further milestone toward the completion of its system solutions for the automotive industry.

The Niederwürschnitz, Saxony, based company employs approx. 750 people in its five sites in Germany, China and India and has generated total revenues of about EU 115 million in FY 2012/13.
AVICEM is an industrial conglomerate headquartered in Beijing, China. The business of AVICEM is comprised of electromechanical services for the aviation industry, special machine engineering & key systems for vehicles, cooling technology as well as medical and electrical devices. For FY 2014 the company expects total revenues of about EUR 5 billion.
