Network Corporate Finance acted as exclusive debt advisor to the management of proFagus group on the reorganization of the company\u00b4s entire financing structure.<\/p>\n

Transaction<\/strong><\/p>\n

proFagus group\u2019s financing structure has been completely reorganized in a new structure with existing and new lenders. The existing debt facilities have been extended and were complemented by a new facility of EUR 5 million.<\/p>\n

One of the existing banks was replaced by a new financing partner who provided the additional debt, to finance the new production facility for smoke flavours. Furthermore, the existing forfaiting was replaced by a new factoring facility.<\/p>\n

proFagus group is a leading manufacturer of charcoal and briquettes, as well as associated barbecue products in Europe. Based on its exceptional high quality proFagus is the German market leader for premium charcoal products. Due to the unique carbonisation process proFagus is able to refine and market industrial products of very high quality in its business unit \u201cNatural Additives\u201d for the food and pharmaceutical industry, such as acetic acid and smoke flavours.<\/p>\n
