Cofely, the energy services business of GDF SUEZ, Cologne, (\u201cCOFELY\u201c) has acquired 100% in the technical service company H.G.S. GmbH & Co. KG, Krefeld, (\u201cH.G.S.\u201d).<\/p>\n

Network Corporate Finance exclusively advised H.G.S.\u2019s shareholder Henkelhausen Holding GmbH and H.G.S. in connection with the transaction.<\/p>\n

Transaction<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cofely, the energy services business of GDF SUEZ, has acquired H.G.S., a technical service provider located in Krefeld from Henkelhausen Holding GmbH, a portfolio company of the HANNOVER Finanz Group. The transaction represents an important strategic milestone for the expansion of COFELY\u2019s value chain with respect to technical services. The transaction strengthens COFELY\u2019s service portfolio for combined heat and power (CHP) stations and special gases.<\/p>\n

Company<\/strong><\/p>\n

H.G.S. GmbH & Co. KG is a specialist company for service and maintenance of gas engines in CHP stations for more than 25 years. Besides this, the company features extensive know-how with respect to the application of special gases used for the operation of these engines. With about 70 employees, H.G.S. generated sales of approximately EUR 30 m in 2013.<\/p>\n
