The von-Allwoerden-Group as leading quick service and bakery chain in Northern Germany, has entered into a far-reaching strategic partnership with EDEKA Handelsgesellschaft Nord. Network Corporate Finance advised the von-Allwoerden-Group and its shareholders exclusively on the transaction.<\/p>\n

Transaction<\/strong><\/p>\n

EDEKA Nord acquires a significant minority stake in the von-Allwoerden-Group. The EDEKA subsidiary Dallmeyers Backhus which operates around 100 bakery stores in Northern Germany, is going to be integrated into the von-Allw\u00f6rden-Group. The two transactions form the basis for a far-reaching strategic partnership between EDEKA Nord and the von-Allwoerden-Group.<\/p>\n

Previously, NETWORK already advised the managing partners of the von-Allwoerden-Group in the context of an owner buyout and structured the financing.<\/p>\n

With its more than 380 locations (2018), the von-Allwoerden-Group is the leading quick service and bakery chain in Northern Germany. The company with its brands \"von Allwoerden\", \"Nur Hier\", \"Knaack\", \"Unser Norden Landbaeckerei\" and \"franz & friends\" was able to rise to the German top 5 quick service systems as well as bakery chains in recent years. The transaction creates, with more than 480 locations, the fourth-largest quick service system and the third-largest bakery chain in Germany.<\/p>\n
