NETWORK advises Hübers Verfahrenstechnik on finance structuring.
NETWORK acted as exclusive debt advisor to Hübers Verfahrenstechnik Maschinenbau GmbH ("Hübers“) on the structuring and negotiation of a new covenant set. These changes were necessary due to changed accounting standards.
Transaction
The new covenant set provides higher flexibility and is based on the updated business plan. Additional headrooms and a newly introduced mulligan clause are key crucial elements. The revised covenant concept is individually tailored to the needs of the company and provides an optimal framework for the further growth of Hübers.
Companies
Hübers was founded in 2009 by Markus and Dominik Terhardt and continues the tradition of the original HÜBERS company, which was founded in 1937 by Ernst Hübers. The company manufactures machines and systems for the casting and mold filling of lightweight components for the renewable and e-motion sectors, among others. Hübers is mainly active in Europe and Asia and has service and sales offices in Xiamen, China, and Tokyo, Japan. The US market is currently being expanded and developed. The company is headquartered in Bocholt, Germany, where more than 90% of production takes place. Since 2021, the new majority shareholder, Hannover Finanz GmbH, has been supporting Hübers in driving forward its growth and internationalization.
