Minger Kunststofftechnik AG, Appenzell, CH ("MINGER"), a recycling specialist of engineering plastics, has sold its recycling-related activities to MCAM Symalit AG, Zurich, CH, a subsidiary of the Swiss Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials ("MCAM"). MCAM is a leading global manufacturer of high-performance materials in the form of semi-finished products and finished parts. Network Corporate Finance exclusively advised the shareholders of MINGER in connection with this transaction.

Transaction

With the acquisition of MINGER’s recycling-related activities, MCAM expands its business for engineering plastics and advanced materials, aiming to strengthen its sustainability and recycling activities, under the guiding principles of KAITEKI, significantly. The recycling business will continue at the same location, with the same product names as well as with the same key contacts.

Company

MINGER has superior proprietary recycling technologies for engineering plastics like PEEK (Polyether Ether Ketone), PVDF (Poly Vinylidene DiFluoride) and nylon. The company’s headquarters are in Appenzell with around 25 employees. Its customers include international companies of the plastics processing industry.
