The Swiss technology and avionic group RUAG finances four further seaplanes that add to the existing fleet of European Coastal Airlines d.o.o. Network Corporate Finance has again exclusively advised the company in connection with this transaction.

By financing four DeHavilland Twin Otter (DHC-6) seaplanes via an 7-year lease, the Swiss based international technology group RUAG and the Split based Croatian European Coastal Airlines (ECA) further develop their technology partnership. With the additional seaplanes, the ECA fleet grows from 2 to 6 aircrafts that support ECA’s expansion in flight activities.

Network Corporate Finance has successfully advised the company on the seaplane financing.

Coastal Airlines (ECA) is Europe’s first seaplane airline that operates under German Management and is based in Split, Croatia. The summer flight plan 2016 will offer regular scheduled services to destinations such as Split Downtown, Split Airport, Zagreb, Rijeka, Pula, Rab, Hvar, Jelsa, Korčula, Dubrovnik, Lastovo and Vis.

ECA is not only offering a new level of comfort in passenger transportation to and from major holiday destinations in Croatia but also creates a sustainable infrastructure development and thus contributes to the further growth in one of the most dynamic tourism regions in the European Union.
