The shareholders of INFODAS Gesellschaft für Systementwicklung und Informations-verarbeitung mbH („infodas“), Cologne, a leading global provider of cross domain solutions in the field of cybersecurity, have entered into agreement to sell their shares in the company to Airbus Defence and Space GmbH („Airbus“), Munich. NETWORK exclusively advised the shareholders of infodas on the preparation and execution of the transaction.

Transaction

The shareholders of infodas have entered into an agreement to sell 100% of their shares to Airbus. This acquisition supports Airbus’ strategic ambition to strengthen its cybersecurity portfolio for the benefit of its European and global customers. Given the exponential growth of cyber threats and the increasing digitalisation and connectivity of Airbus products and systems, cybersecurity is a pivotal component of Airbus’ growth strategy. The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and is expected to be completed before the end of 2024.

Founded in 1974, infodas is one of the leading solution providers for cyber and information security in Germany. The medium-sized cybersecurity specialist supports and advises companies, public authorities and the military with services for the design and implementation of comprehensive solutions for cyber and information security and the protection of IT infrastructures. In addition, the company develops high-security products for domain transitions (Cross Domain Solutions) to protect critical infrastructures in accordance with the highest certification levels and standards. In total, infodas employs more than 250 people at 6 locations in Germany and generated sales of around EUR 50 million in 2023.
