Silver Investment Partners has sold its stake in Landbäckerei Sommer, the largest regional quality bakery in the Sauerland and surrounding areas with around 60 locations and 500 employees, to the financial investor Auctus Capital Partners. Network Corporate Finance exclusively advised the owners and the company on the transaction.
Transaction
With the acquisition of Landbäckerei Sommer, AUCTUS plans to accompany the further growth of the bakery chain. The strategy focuses on organic growth as well as regional acquisitions. Barbara Zeyß remains with Landbäckerei Sommer as CEO and further expanded her shareholding in the company.

Landbäckerei Sommer was founded in Eslohe-Bremke in 1927 and turned to be the regional quality leader in the Sauerland region. The company operates freestanding locations as well as at check-out counters of highly frequented super- and hypermarkets. After the takeover by Silver Investment Partners and the appointment of Mrs. Barbara Zeyß as CEO, a strategic reorganization of the outlet portfolio and the introduction of management and controlling systems took place. These measures improved processes and production planning and lead to a significant increase in the company's profitability. Today Landbäckerei Sommer addresses both the bakery and quick-service markets with its wide range of bread, pastry and snacks.
