The shareholders of Talis Haftetiketten GmbH & Co. KG ("TALIS"), Tönisvorst, a medium-sized manufacturer of self-adhesive roll labels, have sold 100% of their shares to Qualiprint Holding GmbH, Aachen. The purchaser is a subsidiary of the Swiss Qualiprint Holding AG ("QUALIPRINT"), Baar, a group of companies that produces labels, folding cartons and package inserts at twelve locations in Europe. Network Corporate Finance exclusively advised the shareholders of TALIS on the transaction.

Transaction

The shareholders of TALIS have sold their shares in the company as part of a succession plan. With the acquisition, QUALIPRINT expands its business area of self-adhesive roll labels and further strengthens its market position in Germany. Jochen Heinen continues to lead the company as managing director.

Company

TALIS has an extensive range of machinery, which enables the company to offer a variety of printing processes and finishing options and also to realize special customer requests. The company produces self-adhesive roll labels using UV flexographic, offset, screen and digital printing. A combination of the various printing techniques and finishing of the labels using foil stamping or special laminates are also possible. The company has around 100 employees and supplies customers in the cosmetics, chemicals, food and beverage industry.
